ISA Server Setup - Windows 2003 and Exchange 2007
How we did it: We normally don't deploy ISA server but this client already bought the software, so we utilized the application. To start, first we structured the network protecting is using ISA server. The customers network consisted of 3 Windows 2003 Servers, 1 Exchange 2007 Server and one Centos Server. The client wanted to virtualize the network and already bought an HP Server with 32GB of ram, 500GB 15k SAS on PERC Raid5 controller and dual Intel Quad-Core CPU's. We installed VMWare ESXi on the host server and then we were able to clone the Windows Servers on to the host. This worked great and made it possible to use the customers hardware. The customer had another location in Virginia so we used the old servers to create an offsite mirror with replication.
